I was wondering if any body has gotten their tire rotation and balancing at walmart. Do I just go over and tell them what to do or do I make an appointment?

Did you buy your tires from Walmart? If so, rotations are free. If not, expect to pay around 30 bucks, give or take. But yeah, give 'em a call to be sure.

Well, if you can avoid it, then do so. I had Walmart rotate my tires on two occasions. The last time they broke a lug bolt off the rear wheel of my Honda Accord and refused to admit fault (it was kind of obvious when I checked all the tires before driving off and a lug nut was missing--and hey, the bolt was gone, too!) Haven't been near them since.

Make an appt. at a tire shop.Trust me.Have you seen some of the people they hire there. They will hire anybody even with no experience. At least the wal mart in my city will. You will not spend anymore getting it done at most tire places and the guys there usally know what there doing.GOOD LUCK!

You just walk in. I had them rotate my tires once and they forgot to tighten the lugs on one wheel. I didn't know until I was going 75 on the freeway and it fell off.

Just park by the bays and go in the doors there, let them know what you want done and they will page you when its done. You don't need an appointment.

You can do it yourself for free if you have a couple of jacks and some jack stands or cinderblocks. You won't have to worry about them stripping your lug nuts with an impact wrench.

just go over and have them do it. I have found it cheaper to go to a used tire place though.
