Good for sure! What's this good or evil associated with herbs, and your listing this under computer security? There is nothing evil about herbs; parsley, rosemary, thyme, dill, mint, tarragon, oregano, catnip, stevia, chamomile, patchouli, lavender, comfrey, etc.

You need to be reading "The Good Herb," which is all about cooking with herbs and their medicinal properties in healing one's body. Also, some books from Jeanne Rose, which are laced with valuable info on all the different varieties of herbs; she's a true icon in her field of study. I have been involved in herbs and herbal gardening for decades and have quite enjoyed my own recipes using fresh herbs in my back yard garden.

"Stevia" for example is the only herb that is a sweetener. And, the only herb to be used as that. You think Splenda, Sweet n Low and Equal are good for you because they're better than sugar, well think again. They are all horrible! Stevia is naturally sweet and very good for you and diabetics. Pluck a few leaves and steep in a hot pot of tea. It gives you a nice light sweet taste and flavors your tea just a hint. Very refreshing! Chamomile and lavender, the mints, comfrey, and catnip all are great in the making of tea; very relaxing and comforting. Catnip also does a cat good, as they love the plant and it does not hurt them. It has a relaxing affect on them.

I could go on and on regarding herbs, but I won't; too numerous to mention all the herbal properties involved. But if you have high blood pressure, stay away from eating too much rosemary as it only aggravates your HBP. It comes from the pine family and has a very strong pine taste and smell, but is soooo good in the making of soups and chicken dishes. And you only use a little.

Remember though, dry herbs are twice as strong as fresh, so when cooking, if the recipe calls for a dried herb and you only have fresh, use double to achieve the flavor. You just can't go wrong with herbs. Try them sometime. There is nothing evil going on with the use of herbs, and herbs have nothing to do with any occult or witch tabloid. Pure speculation; if that is why you're saying evil.

P.S. What do you think was used to cure ailments, cuts, colds and other medical dieases back in the turn of the century, or even in the Biblical days? They surely did have the medical knowledge back then to help alleviate certain conditions which brought relief and often times, rid one of their diease. Now I find that pretty exciting.

Well I have only met one Herb. He was very mean to me for no reason. So yes, definitely evil.

herbalism can be used for both really. For thousands of years the the tribal healer used herbs to heal but if someone in the tribe pissed that healer off that healer also knew what could kill that person and make it look natural.
