At this point, who really cares what Clinton gave to whom, or who he molested with a cigar? At least we didn't have 3,000 dead soldiers, billions of wasted dollars on a worthless skirmish against a superior force, and we could fill our gas tanks up the same week we buy groceries. Not to mention the fact that people could afford to buy cars and houses when Mr. President Clinton had the reigns. Justify, and I'll back off on the sarcasm...a little. And, need I remind you that it's your leader who wants amnesty for the Meicans? Do some research before you post. You sound rather foolish.

When you say that the government gave them this or that, you are overlooking a very important point. The government doesn't have anything. When they give anyone something, they are doing it on the back of the private sector. All capital in this country is generated by the private sector, including the taxes that are taken out of public sector employees pay checks. Entitlement programs currently swallow 60% of the federal budget.........and this will most likely be close to 90% in twenty years, and none of these programs including the prescription drug program, medicare, medicade, or even Social Security, are good, or ethical. But they do make people feel good. If any person or corporation attempted to fund programs the way the federal government does, they would go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00.
Do not use the power of the force of the federal government to take my money and give it to someone who didn't think it was important to plan for their future.

You're right, the Dems never tried to push for universal health care... (sarcasm)
btw, ever heard of medicare or medicaid? Social security?
If Dems were in power, we would probably have universal health care. Why do Repubs and big business continually block any serious talk of it, or better yet, why are you asking why the elderly can't afford medicines if you're a conservative?

At least under Clinton, seniors could afford both their food and their prescriptions, oh yes, even clothes, from time to time. Housing costs were MuCh lower, as well.
As far as 'heat' they provided subsidies to low income families, for utilities. Which included heat, in the winter, and cool air in the summer. (Just to spell it out for you),

This is not true. The Democrats gave our grandparents Medicare--the Republicans gave the insurance companies hefty subsidies to provide more costly medicines to our grandparents therefore enabling the drug companies to have a bonanza. Those subsidy dollars could be given to people who need it rather than a drug rep who brings coffee & Starbucks desserts to office staff at doctors offices throughout the country as a means to gain entry to market their drug products.

Where do you get this mindless dribble from? Oh I forgot, you listen to the likes of Rush and watch FOX News. That explains your lack of any real intelligence.
