Why wouldn't I? I'd be contributing to the health and lifespan of our children and grandchildren and further relatives, and assure for them a better and healthier life! For those of you out there that are still in their teens and early years as I am, if we don't do something now to make a difference, we could end up living on a polluted planet, and someday be unable to reverse the effects that we, ourselves, have encouraged and put into effect. So I say, why WOULDN'T you want to make a difference? Oh, and if you say it's "too hard," - try harder!

I have spent most of the last 50 years asking questions of Myself not unlike that. And the conclusion that i have reached is this: I was making a difference before it became fashionable, and I will be doing likewise long after the novelty has worn off, and the Band waggon has rolled on for most of You.

I have been making a difference when it we wasn't even cool to think green. My daughters wore cloth diapers. I had read that it takes about 500 yrs. for 1 diaper to biodegrade. Paper Please ... it might be harder to carry but paper won't be around as long as plastic. I have 8 gr.kids that I'd like to have a planet to raise my greatgrkids to live on. Ever notice that there aren't any more diaper service trucks on the road anymore?

Yeah and I do as much as I can. Did you know that the smoke from a volcanic eruption slightly repairs the ozone layer? You'd think scientists would be able to chemically duplicate that effect to fix this problem.
