Are the Pirates going to suck as bad the second half of the season as they did in the first half? Am I the only one who misses Jason Kendell and Craig Wilson?

kendall was awesome but took a large part of their salary and wilson is bad *** as well
but they have pretty good pitching and i think they will have an ok season

Unfortunately both Kendell and Wilson were unloaded due to their contracts. Don't see much reason for hope in the second half the way the Bucs are coming out after the All-Star break (0-5). Maybe things will get better after the season when they get a new CEO and GM?

I'd rather see Craig Wilson on the bench than Rajai Davis, though I don't think he's a starter. Kendall, though - he was a good contact hitter but has no power and is losing his defensive skills.

They never fail to disappoint. I've been to a few games this season, and I can honestly say I have never seen such an unmotivated team. At one point, Jason Bay took off his mitt and started biting his nails. When the ball actually went out into left field, he WALKED to it. It was horrible.

The Pirates have 2 series with the mets, 2 mini series with the Brew crew. they face the cubbies in 2 mini series. Padres in 1 series, I dont think u have too much to look forward to... sry

I don't think they'll get any better until they have new owners; and its a shame beause Pittsburgh has been an NL city for 120+ years.

Pirates seem to be opting for the "rebuilding" faze.....they had a good young team, they still might but it wont happen for a few more years

they have good prospects their A ball team is my local team and they are good so if that says anything then in maybe a couple years
