The complete lack of planning and control when it comes to highway traffic. The highway system in my city was built way back when when there wasn't even a quarter of the population and not even an eighth of cars on the roads. Yet we still are told to think the two highways going in and out of the heart of down town is good enough? Even at five in the morning, you're standing still, literally. It's getting so bad, residential roads are starting to be backed up. And the fact that the only alternative, public transportation is providing less and less services, canceling routes and have tripled wait times despite the price for one trip has gone up 500% in the past six years. As soon as my girlfriend gets her Masters degree and leaves school, we're leaving the city for good.

I love my commute! It's only 15 minutes long, and it's a beautiful drive in the country. It's about a thousand times better than my former commute: 45 minutes in the ugly city.
Yea for awesome commutes! Boo for bad ones...

Not a damn thing. I get there at 4 in the morning, on my bicycle. I see maybe 4 cars the whole ride. It is paradise.
On days when I get up late, I drive the car. My commute is 6 miles.
I have the luxury of saving annoyance for other trivialities.

I hate when traffic slows down all of a sudden for no reason and you see people on their cell phones in the fast lane who slow down too but drive like a hundred yards behind the car in front of them and when all the cars start to accelerate the people with the cell phones don't and cause a back up behind them.

When I wanna hear some tunes and about 3 stations do nothing but talk, talk, talk and run commercials, and by the time I get to work, it's too late to hear mucic and usually the DJs are still yakking anyway!!!!!!!!!
PLUS, slow A** "Sunday" Drivers" and people who don't use their turn signals!!!!!!!!! Aargh!!!!
