Have you ever thought it was you and your four kids. Those baby daddies didn't want you and I'm sure that they were black. I can't stand when black wemon say that white girls steal your men? Besides slavery, how can someone be stolen. Before I got married I had no problem with dating men black and white. And now I am married to a wonderful black man who takes me shopping, massages me, runs me bubble baths and listens to me.
Men are going to be men, black and white men are just that, MEN!!! Stop your belly aching. Fix your hair pretty, buy a new outfit, paint your nails and stop hating! If you feel that there is a shortage of black men well, America has a lot of different culture backgrounds . . . just look.
Get some confidence sister. Maybe you're looking at the wrong men. Love and luck you.

Do you know what it's like to be an impoverished white person who has been hungry and homeless, who has struggled for his/her entire life with no help from anyone, who hasn't the opportunity to get on the Internet to "communicate with his/her people" because he/she cannot afford to purchase a computer much less subscribe to the Internet, who would think he/she is lucky if he/she could make $20K per year, who stays sick most of the time because he/she can't afford health insurance, and who is accused of having a mountain of opportunities in life since he/she is white?

In case you're not getting my point, I'll elaborate:
Your question is completely irrelevant, as there are people of all races who are struggling and people of all races who experience racism. Likewise, regardless of race, no one can have 100% knowledge of what it's like to be another person. No, I don't know what it's like to be a black woman in America. But, on that same note, there's only one black woman whose life you are 100% familiar with- And that's YOURS.

Furthermore, not all white women are "rich and pampered". This is evident in the fact that most people, regardless of race, are NOT rich. What's more, white women are not "stealing" ANYONE. Are you implying that we kidnap black men and somehow force them to remain with us? Grow up. You may as well get use to people dating/marrying outside of their races, because they're not going to stop simply because of the hatred, ignorance, and insecurities of others.

(And I see that, once again, a black avatar is being accused of being white. You're right... There are no such people as racist non-whites. )

No but i do know what it is like to be a single mother raising 3 kids ...working 2 jobs..not getting any child support from ex...and dealing with stupid people(boss included)
oh and i happen to be white... so not every white woman in the world has it made..OK
Life is tough and people chose a partner to make it through this world..I don't believe color, race,or religion should stop you from finding the right person for yourself..

It's hard for every single mother raising 4 kids no matter, what race they are. And I do understand what you mean by the whole black men being with black women thing. But black men have too much self-hatred to be with a black women and that's the truth about that situation.

My husband is black, we have 6 beautiful bi-racial children. He is definitely a "good black man"!!
I am pretty sure my husband was single when I met him, so I am a little confused on how I stole him and who I stole him from!

As far as having to raise 4 kids on 20k.. what is your point? Why did you have so many kids before you had enough education to get a better paying job to support your family. Who's fault is that? Your life now, is the outcome of decisions you made! Who can you possibly blame that on but yourself and the father of your children who must have left and is obviously not paying child support!

Maybe a black man would keep your azz if you didn't have 4 kids. Let me guess...they are not all from the same man. Also, why are you having a few drinks when you are a single mother. Do your kids see your dumbazz get wasted?

are you serious? All black women are not the same.. you should have made this question ONLY about you, because my life is nothing like your is, I have no single friends that live like you do either.... and my friends that have black men have good black men... but then again they were not single mothers with 4 kids

Seriously, I can emphasize with the pressure you feel. As a black woman, you can feel dumped on sometimes. I am a single professional with no children and feel like we are the most hated group of women. Some of the comments about black women made on the Yahoo answers are so degrading and ignorant.

Find joy with yourself and love your children dearly. Do not let societal pressures make you believe that black women are less than anyone. Be proud and realize that no opinion of you matters but your opinion about yourself.

But the opposite is true as well. Black men have dated and married white women as well. I know more white women with black husbands than the other way around.
