Scalar Weapons? I never heard of that term. Did you just make it up?

Polar Shift? Are you talking about the magnetic pole reversal? It has happened many times as shown by alternating bands of oppositely magnetized rock in certain deposits. Considerable weakening of the Earth's magnetic field has been measured in the last few decades and there have been increasing shifts in some local parts of the field. Some think we may be on the verge of the next reversal, and that it make take "only" a few thousand years to occur.

There is ample evidence for polar shift, and is a theory well-subscribed to. If we are due as a planet for a new shift, it would (if the process follows historic data) take several million years. I think we'll have figured something out by then.
As for scalar weapons, I suggest reading up on newer weapons that are both cooler, and actually exist, such as tungsten-rod missiles.

Your mere scalar weapons are no match for my third rank contravarient tensor weapons!
