I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but I try to think of it this way, the mistakes in my past led up to me having 5 beautiful children and the children themselves are not mistakes so I can feel bad about the past but cannot regret any of it or wish to change it because then I wouldn't have my kids.

Seriously? *Deep breath* Okay, here goes-- I left my husband almost a year ago. BIG MISTAKE. Rather than work through things, I chose to walk away. I didn't just move to the next city over, either-- he's in California and I'm in Minnesota. We are working on things, though-- it's just a lot more difficult to do when we're so far away. Stupid, stupid, stupid move on my part.

when i got into a car wreck when another guy hit me, they gave me a check for what my truck was worth, which was about $6000. and i used it to buy a car that cost $8600. bad choice. i spent $600 six weeks after i had it to do repairs BC the lot sold it to me AS IS. then the transmission went out on it, and the motor mound was about to cave in. now I'm stuck with a $22000 car that i will be paying on for 5 years, and if i wouldn't have bought that car so early, id have $6000 less to pay for on my NEW car. it sucks

We got married 10 days after graduation from high school. That was a terrible disaster! He is working on his fifth marriage now.

You can't judge it as the damage done by any mistake is difficult to acess / calculate in terms of time/money
