every now and again well most of the time im on the internet this box comes up and says iexplore this program has operated an ilegal operation and now will shut down then it closes my web page does anybody know why this is and how i can fix it.

sounds like you have a virus. I would run scans for it and adware soon.

Whatever happened was illegal and can't be shut down that's why it warns you of the action taken.
