Okay, so I think I may be pregnant, but not entirely sure....need to take a test but don't know if i want to know the answer yet or not. My question however is have any of you experienced or heard of experiences of womens cervix becoming larger/swollen during the early stages of pregnancy?? Or when going off birth control?? To the point of causing slight dull pain in the cervical region during intercourse

Yes, when you get pregnant blood flow is increased to the genitals and this causes the cervix to become engorged with blood. It also becomes tender to touch and if you touch it too roughly or have too rough intercourse it may bleed.

The cervix is usually thick during the pregnancy but will thin out if it is dilating at the late stage of pregnancy.
