Make your lines into a song, and hum them all day long. It's hard but then ask yourself how much do you want this ? It's not gay, do it in private, but just don't go out in public singing them , because that is gay. Look up theaters in the yellow pages, thats a good way to find auditions.

Often times the community theatres have audition dates and times for professional/pre-professional theatre up on a bulletin board or something-your best bet is to join a theatre to take classes at, this will make you connections(even in the most remote area, connects can and will be found)and the theatre's students are of course the first to hear about the auditions.

If you're anywhere near NY and want to really get serious then suscribe to Backstage magazine, it's a great magazine and has a ton of audition dates to anything and everything in NY(including broadway and off-broadway).
