I think asking that misses the point entirely. there isn't one, there is no rhyme or reason we are all just masses of energy, thrown together and doing this thing we call living. What we do with ourlives however is what matters as that influences the lives of others. We are here and must live there is no great mystery behind it and in the end we will die and so the cycle continues. does life have a purpose in general or does it just materialize after all planet earth is full of life while saturn is baren. is there a point to that? no its just natural somethings go beyond reason and simply are as they are.
So enjoy living, it is a gift because there is no reason or plan behind it, it just happens, make of it what you can.

The problem with this question is that humans have yet to understand what the question means. If some amazing computer that was super intelligent told you the answer to the point of life, we may not understand the answer because we don't understand the question. The word "life" is in the question and that is a very difficult word to define meaning to. Just look at an abortion debate. Read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

By point, you really mean purpose. The crucial issue is that without a Creator/God, there can be no purpose and no point to life.
If you will accept that your Creator might possibly exist, then it makes sense to seek Him.
If you reject that your Creator exists, then you need to quit seeking a point to life because there is nothing to be found. However, our human nature will not allow us to think our lives pointless because pointless means worthless. If we dwell on our pointless existence, we will commit suicide or go insane. So here is a summary of strategies you can use:
1) Live as if you do have a purpose/point, e.g. "I want to leave the world a better place than I found it"
2) Busy your life with activity so you won't have time to think about the pointlessness of your life, e.g. sports, TV, hobbies, etc.
3) Focus on the little bits of happy feelings we get, e.g. the good food at some restaurant.

Seek God

I do not think that there is a point to life... Nor do I think that our spirits will live forever or will be reincarnated. So basically I think you are just gone, just like when you are sleeping.
Thats why you should just live the best life you can and do all that you ever want to do!

What do you think? The point of your living is to know the answer on your own. If someone told you their answer to that question, more likely you will not accept fully their answer. All people are unique, so are their answers. If you will try to answer that question yourself, you will understand your uniqueness and who you really are. If you adapt other people's answer for your life, then that is not really you being you but instead other people imposing their lives on you.

Different Religions have different beliefs.

That little dot over the "i"... actually that's the dot of life....
Well, wouldn't it be the "i"? Because "i" is the main letter in "life"...? I think.
Ha just kidding. I think we'll all find out once we die.
