I know when I was in the hospital, they were serving us fruit juice with our medicine, instead of water.

You can take basically with any juice except for grapefruit juice, it will increase the absorption of the medicine and you will have more of the med in your system. Some meds are not taken with milk, it can prevent absorption of the medicine.

Vitamin C is helpful with certain medicines, such as iron pills. Probably with other medicines too. Let me tell you something I've noticed ever since I drank my first Pepsi: citric acid aids in the digestion of pills MUCH better than water does. So...the juice is a great idea. :)

You should be OK, the only real concern is grapefruit juice which interacts with some medications.

Oh yeah, unless the medication has a warning on it you can take it with anything. Many advise against taking them with milk, but I don't like milk anyway. And of course we can't take them with a beer chaser.

you need to make sure you can take your meds with fruit juice. some meds have interactions with juices such as cranberry.

probably i dont know i heard you should only take medicine with milk or water
