ok i dont have glasses, but i need them. my ma offered to get me contacts instead so i said sure. but i am nervous for the first time on how to put them in for the very first time. please give me advice!!! one of my friends said that it took her 3 hours to get hers in for the first time!! HELP

you'll get use to it,it may be hard for the first few days but you'll get the hang of it.

For one thing, dont freak out about it. That will just make it worse. It all depends on the person as to how long it ill take you to get them in, but here are some tips:
1. Try to make sure your hands are clean and fairly dry. Contacts stick to moist surfaces, so its always better if your eye is more moist than your finger.
2. Put some drops in your eye so they aren't dry.
3. Use a mirror
4. Use one finger to hold down the bottom part of your eye while using another finger to put the contact in your eye.
5. DON'T BLINK!!
Those are tips that definitely helped me.

The eyes are probably the most sensitive part of your exposed body. It is really difficult to put stuff inside them because we are so used to protecting them from foreign bodies. My advice is to becareful but have a no fear approach because if you are scared, it will take forever to get them in. Just know that it won't hurt at all. Also, after a few days, it should be a lot easier to put them in. Hope this helps! â»

i got contacts for the first time back in november after 8 years of glasses, and i was 14. at first, the lady at the eye doctor put them in for me, then i took them out and i had to put them back in. it took me about 30 minutes total. after about a week of taking them in and out every day, i could put them in in about 5 minutes. now it takes me about 1 minute to get them both in!! contacts are soo much better than glasses!! good luck!

ok i got contacts in january so it took my about 30 minutes to put the first one it. then the second was about 10. it was easy and i didnt feel anything. they will tell you eaxactly what to do. you just have to make sure they dont fall out or anything. if you have any questions you can email me. its really easy though. and you dont feel anything and it doesnt hurt.

It doesn't take that long usually.
The first few times take a bit to get used to, but after that, I could pop mine in in about 30 seconds.
