What is your opinion about choosing them as a best answer or giving them a star?

I would say do what you feel is right. If the question is good or interesting to you, star it, if not, don't. You pick the best answer you feel is best, no matter who it is!!!!

If your family are going to be helping you with your 'dilemma' I see no reason on coming onto yahoo answers to get peoples hopes up and waste their time. People like to help and provide their opinion. You should choose the best answer that helps you on Yahoo, thats why you are here. Then you can tell your family/friends they are stars in your eyes for being helpful.

We promiced not to. This is not really about the points but about really giving the best answer that we can give. She quit because someone hurt her feelings. So we don't have to worry about choosing each others answers anymore.

If it is the best answer or it deserves a star I would give it to them. Otherwise, not.

I got my sister to sign up here on YA just a couple weeks ago. I give her a thumbs up on most of her answers, but it's because I think she answers questions well, not becuase she is my sister.

Regardless of relationship towards the person/people, I'd choose answers that solve my question.

It would depend on their answer. Just because they are family doesn't mean I have to agree with them, or give them special favors.
