and if you dont, dont u hate it when u do and its awkward caz everyone is quiet. thats how it is in my house lol. but do you eat at the family table?? is it rarely like mines, or never or all the time??

Our family eats together at the table nearly every night. We have young children so it is nice to catch up on their days. However, with young children, it is never quiet. : ) I think it is nice to relax at the end of the day for a little while and let everyone get some talking out, together.

Eat at the table all the time with my family. I live out in the middle of the woods so if i don't want to eat with them i don't have a store i can run to and get something. but most the time we talk and enjoy each other my family is pretty cool.

I'd say we usually eat together 6 nights a week with lunch and breakfast thrown in for good measure - usually on weekends. We grew up doing this during our childhoods and when we met and married we carried on the tradition with our children. Our children seem to enjoy this time because we have no TV or telephone during this time!!

Most of the time, we eat together at the table. It's not required for anybody to be quiet, but would rather my daughter not hum and swallow at the same time.

it is awkward just seeing my family. none of them talk about anything and it's just really boring. thank god i don't have to now since i live all the way across the country from most of my family and i now eat at my table with my bf.

Not every night, but we try to at least 5 nights a week. Sometimes it is fast food, but we can talk and spend time together.

No, I live alone, Eat alone. at the computer , on the couch, at the table. I know it sucks, but being alone I can eat anywhere I want to.

I live with my grandparents, and we all have different schedules. So its really really rare if we eat together. And its not awkward or quiet.

my children have grown and left home. there's just the two of us now. we eat together but not always at the table.
