I would say not! LOL!There is always that possibility I guess, but the dr. should have given you a card that kinda looks like an xray..because you may need to show someone in security that u have a plate in your head when you set the metal detectors off if you ever fly! Good Luck!

Yes I believe so. I know my friend seems to stay in during lighting storms. She has a metal plate in her head.
