Yes. I do a better job with it that way. I used to use an electric brush, and thought that was effiicient. But right after brushing one time, went to the dentist and he showed me all kinds of places I was missing. He said that the electric ones theoretically do better than manual, but you have to do it properly, holding the brush at the correct angle. So I just gave it up, as I didn't trust my skill.....went back to manual where I hit em hard!

I use an Oral B power whitening Cross Action battery operated toothbrush but I still use my hand to brush my teeth so I think it's still manual...

what do you think?

Nope. I invested in one of those Oral B electric toothbrushes. Never going back to the $5 'manual' toothbrush.

I take a tooth brush. Rinse it under warm water for like 5 seconds. I apply toothpaste, rinse my mouth and then brush my teeth. When I'm done, I spit it out, clean my toothbrush, and then rinse my mouth a couple of more times....
