Bathing your iguana is another good way for your friend to obtain water, and is a good habit to get your lizard use to. Bathing should be offered in shallow, lukewarm water, 2-3 times weekly. Always supervise your iguana to prevent any accidents. Remember, not all iguanas enjoy bath time. Some will swim around and enjoy it, others will panic

You can also mist him daily as that wouldnt hurt after he comes in from outside. That would also remove dirt from his body....

All iguana's can swim and mine loves to move within the bathtub, despite the fact that she is now over four toes. They swim identical to a gator! If you've gotten a tender one lukewarm, now not sizzling or bloodless and upload regularly till it might waft a little bit, after which watch em' pass. I could handiest go away in for five to ten mins to begin.

Yes! In fact, Iggys should really have access to a pool to soak in every day. This also stimulates pooping, which they often do in water. I had a large kitty litter sized pan in my Iggys cage with fresh water in it all the time. They loved it. They do need relatively higher humidity, so this helps. Also helps with shedding. :)

I think it should be ok. Just make sure the water is relatively warm but not hot or cold.
