his rep is definently going down.
he denies it with some lame excuse saying that it was his relatives that he gave land to. but other evidence shows that it most probably was vick who was involved with the dog fighting.
he's still going to play though. all rich athletes seem to find a way out. he's going to be like barry bonds. legend, but with a tainted rep

Probably a huge fine, and I think this is what Atlanta has been waiting for. In fact I wouldn't be suprised if they framed him so they can get rid of him and his over priced salary. To the guy a few above me, LEGEND, did you just say Vick will be a LEGEND? What kind of crack have you been smoking. I would rather have Kordell Stewert on my team than Vick. LEGEND, funniest thing I have ever read on these boards.

IF he is convicted, he deserves the maximum jail time and fine for lying all along. If he is found not guilty, he should be allowed to play. Regardless of the NFL Conduct Policy, it has not been proven that he did anything and suspension at this time might be premature.

BUT . . . if he is guilty, I wonder if the Falcons have something in his contract that will allow them to cut him loose without a big financial hit?

If Michael Vick does his penalty if/when he is fully exposed about this fiasco and the others before this, then he could possibly stay in the NFL. The way things are, I doubt Ron Mexico will make it.

He's done
He's out
What is even more incredible about this, is that had he just admitted it, he could have plea'd down to probation and maybe a 4 game suspension. But now he risks losing 2 to 3 years of prime playing time.

He won't go to jail based on who he is. If he is found guilty, he probably will get a huge fine, a slap on the wrist and a suspension from the NFL. I think his days in Atlanta are numbered.

The same future Dick Cheney got after he shot a dude in the face, not to mention he didn't have a hunting license and was drinking at the time. Oh yeah, i forgot, he's white...nevermind, crucify the black man for all of his wrong doings, but when a white person screws up, we'll just slap 'em on the wrist, or better yet, pretend it didn't happen. We the media will just stop showing the incident and focus everybody's attention on something else completely stupid.

i think he should be kicked out of the NFL. white, black, yellow, it doesn/t matter what his race is, this was a cruel thing he did to these poor dogs.he has bad days on the field, so why don't we pour water on him and electrocute him????? these poor dogs did not ask to be put in this situation and he is a cruel heartless person. i don't care if it were Dan Marino (and he's white), he still needs to be punished to the full extent of the law!!!!!!

Probably nothing going to happen this year because it'll take a while for the trial (if there is one).
