I am really not for monthly scrapbooking subscriptions. The problem with any package deal is that you always get a lot of stuff you won't use.
It makes sense to stock up on a variety of certain embellishments, like brads and fibers. You can get assortments at online stores or at ebay. If you're careful, you can get a good deal. Then, when it comes to the other stuff, buy only what you think you're going to use. So many people end up with a whole room full of stuff that they'll never use.

I dont know about any clubs, but if you are looking for a good price on scrapbook materials you should check out www.orientaltrading.com. I have ordered things from them before and for the most part they have been really good.

subscriptions to scrapbooking are okay if you are going to constantly buy from their stockists listed - sometimes the products may not be what you are looking for - if anything just buy the magazine at your local newsagency on a monthly basis. You truly don't end up saving all the much money from the subscriptions, only advantage, you get yours before others do. i made the fatal mistake and got a subscriptions to a magazine scrapbooking club (wasted my money) cause i only wanted to get this one particular product (special that was on). i haven't picked up and read the magazines since.

Be wise - stay away from subscriptions.
