Pretty ridiculous statement. Perhaps our troops deserve a month of R&R as well.

I found myself hoping our troops will get a vacation as well.
They are the ones in full gear in the same 130 degree heat as those government types in their air conditioned offices.
Could he have been anymore cavalier in his assessment of their vacations? Isn't this indicative of a casual attitude towards the troops?

Lol...I guess his memory and knowledge is as good as his boss Bush. That country has had 130 degree summers since the beginning of time, so why should it stop an important process now in a time when there is something called AIR CONDITIONING!!!!????!!!! : )

A reporter brought up a valid point, that our troops are suffering through 130 degree temps too. He just blew it off.
