Personally, C-section, not only is it low risk for me as well, but I know what to expect, not to mention if I did choose to have a VBAC there is still a pretty good chance I could end up having an emergency ceserean. Here are a few good sites on making the VBAC decision.

I would VBAC, they are so much safer if you can. Cesareans are major abdominal surgery, the recovery time is longer and just no fun. Not that pushing out a baby is, but the recovery and lower risks are worth it.
I personally cannot, well, there are a few doctors who are willing to do a VBAC after a classical Cesarean, but I don't feel the need to find if any of them are even in my state. The risk is just too great.
I know lots of VBAC moms... they've all done extensive research and the risk involved w/a VBAC is less than half of a repeat C-section!! One even convinced medicaid to pay for a VBAC in a birthing center. (which was stupid, because it was so much less than paying for a repeat Csection which is what they told her she had to have... then she got a stubborn doctor who fought for her, then she pushed further for a midwife and the government ended up paying a fraction of the cost for a midwife than a hospital stay and surgery... insane that she had to fight so hard to save the government some money to do something safer!!!)

I had a C-section then a VBAC then for my third the hospital would not let me have a VBAC because they didn't allow them at that hospital anymore. So I just had my son C-section 6 weeks ago. I had absolutely no problems with my C-section. I had hardly any pain and recovered extremely quickly.
So It depends on how well you did the first time. If you recover easily then I would say stick with the C-section. I wish I had for the second one because I had alot of pain when I had a natural birth. Besides the pain of the episiotomy, for years I had to get up during the night to go to the bathroom, also the hemorrhoids I got from the pushing will still come back and its been 6 years since my second baby. My pelvic floor was very sore and I had soreness during sex for along long time. If I could go back I would have had all C-sections.
If your first C-section was easy do it again, don't chance the problems you could get from having a VBAC.

I am up against the same predicament and I think I will be going with the C-section. My doctor actually felt the VBAC would not be a good idea in my situation. I had also pushed for two hours the first time and then needed the emergency c. However, I'm getting a lot of flack for my decision.....ignore any comments you might receive. No one should discuss what is medically right for you except for your doctor.
Good luck either way!

I would choose a VBAC if I got pregnant again. Reason I would like to try to have a VBAC was I felt as if I had failed to try to go natural. I had to have a c-section because my son's head was too big to fit through my pelvis (normal on my husband's side of the family. My husband, brother, cousin, dad, and grandpa were all born via c-section)

I had 2 c-sections, one emergency, and the other planned. It seemed like a good idea at the time to schedule the 2nd one, but, I have a lot of regret about not being able to experience giving birth naturally. I would definitely try to go vbac, if I had to do it all over again. Good luck!!!!

I don't know that I would make a definite decision. You may end up needing a C-section for various reasons. If it were me, I would tentatively plan for a VBAC and be open to having a C-section if the situation calls for it.
Good luck!
