Is there a web site that i can look on to see if I have any pending law suits or summons?

I had my ex contact me (we've been broke up 7yrs) some guy left his card with his friends trying to contact me, saying he had unclaimed money for me. i called this guy and alot of things just dont add up. I called the the state they said they dont hire people to give money, and i dont have any. He wants to meet me somewhere, and when i ask him how much, he tells me he doesnt have my file w/him, but its at least $3000. He said he traced me from an old address i lived at 7 years ago.Can anyone help me out here. i dont trust this guy, and I dont want him to sneak up on me who ever he is. And i dont have any warrants.

Don't even think about meeting this guy.
If you do ask him to meet you at the Police Station in the lobby. If he is for real, he wouldn't mind meeting you there.
Unclaimed money has nothing to do with law suits or warrants. I believe there is a web site you can check for unclaimed money.
Go to google.com and do a search on unclaimed money for the state you live in or have lived in. Or even all states.
