My cousin's upper lip is very dark (almost black) yet his lower lip is dark pinkish. He asked me how he could lighten up his darker lip. I told him to put vaseline on it everyday....But I dont even know if that helps. What are some suggestions or ways to fix dark lip, so I can help him out.

There is no permanent fix, however if he puts either foundation or concelor thats a lighter color on his upper lip that might help the only down side of that is he'll have to get lip stick or pigment to make his lip a little pinkish because it will just make his lip tan. There honestly is no way to lighten your lip besides lipstick and foundation but since hes a boy I doubt he'd want to do that.

see a dermatoloigist .ask to have it bleached .sometimes when people suffer vitiligo they bleach the skin to cover patches much like with Micheal Jackson.
