It really depends on what you mean by work. If you mean contact the dead, I am not so sure. Now if you mean give you answers to things that your conscience mind is not of aware of yes.
To get it to work you need more than one person (this is for your safety--- just in case) and you need to all agree on and concentrate on the same question. Then be patient. It is usuallly slow starting but once it gets going the answers will come quicker.
Som Basic Ouija Information
It usually is a bad speller and gets frustrated easily. Don't ask about God, the Devil, heaven, or hell, or the afterlife because this frustrates them.
If it moves in a figure 8 then it is a hostile spirit. Do not let it count through the numbers or letter forwards or backwards. This is its way of trying to break free of the board.
Always be sure to tell it goodbye and it tells you goodbye.
There is alot more. Read up on the subject. There are alot of good pointers and basic rules to follow for safety reasons ans to get more accurate results.
Have fun!
Oh and for those of you that don't know and I know that some of you are out thereclaiming you do know when you don't....
IT WAS NOT CREATED BY PARKER BROS!!!! Parker Bros bought the copyright. Ouija Board slae are second only to Monopoly. The origianl idea of the Ouija board can be dated as far back as the Pythagoreans. Do your homework before you claim to be an expert please.

Be careful, it works for some people alone but only some. Typically you have to have 2 or more people on the board and even then it still may not work.
I got a Ouija board when I was very very young, and was unbelieveably lucky that I had a good spirit protecting me, he saved me from inviting bad things into my house countless times and I only realized the boards dangers when I was older and experienced in this sort of thing. The ouija board is just like stranger danger, there are evil things and if you're not careful with the ouija board you might invite them in. Trust me, you might not believe all this hocus pocus now but when the plastic piece flies off the board and all the way across the room, theres no wind and you're the only one on the board its very frightening.
Research Ouija before you try it or ask someone who knows about that stuff, its dangerous to jump into these things without the correct knowlege.

Yes they do work, if there happens to be a spirit(s) present that cares to communicate with you. I know many people don't believe they work, but in my opinion, just because they don't work for one doesn't mean they won't for another. Years ago when I was a teen, my best friend and I used one that she had at here house. She had already had quite a few experiences with it, but wanted to show me how it worked. I wasn't totally convinced at the time, but by the time we were through I was a total believer. We didn't even have to touch the pointer, we just held our fingertips about a half inch above it, and right away it slid over to hello. We asked it all the silly questions a teen girl might ask. I asked it the name of the man I would marry, and it spelled out "George". (I didn't marry a George, never even knew one.) She asked who it was and it spelled out her mother's initials (she had passed away about a year before), but then she asked if she was in a good place, and it said "no". We figured right then that it wasn't really her mother. Anyway, people are going to believe what they want, but I know what I experienced was very real, no way was either of us moving the pointer, our fingers were above it at all times. I think it depends on different factors if it works or not. Even the same two people may not get a response every time.

The Oui'Ja board has a vast history; though people argue over the validity of it.
Oui'Ja is a form of divination not too different from fire / water gazing, pendulums, crystal balls, rolling of the bones, tarot cards, and even reading of tea leaves. They work if they are used properly and sadly enough even some times when they are not used properly.
Most things are best ventured under a clear understanding. Read up and see where you feel this truth lives.

Though it was created and is produced by a toy and game company, an Ouija board can help you harness any Oracle talents you may have. There are no spirits, curses, or ghosts involved.
The Ouija boards, like the pendulum, and the planchette, are amplifiers of talent already within the operator. If you try too hard or you have no natural talent, it is normal for the board to remain quiescent or make only foolish moves.
There are none of the evil things many Christians say will cause you harm, for all of these phenomena only exist in the minds of Christians who thrive on fear in others and themselves.
The Ouija board is subject to the laws of Magick because it is used as a tool of Magick and if you try to use it for an evil purpose the evil will be returned threefold

Scientifically, no. Psychically, many people have had disturbing after effects from a Parker Brothers board game. Even if it is only because of suggestion, I don't recommend them. Let me put it this way: If they're fake, you're wasting your time. If they're real: don't open a door you can't close. (Cue scary music now)

Friend, this is just a doorway for evil to come close to you. I promise you if it moves or if you get answers it is not coming from anything that you want to be exposed to. Don't be pulled into all the response of fun times or good spirits when it comes to evil things, the devil comes as an angel of light, do not be deceived. I pray for you to be covered by a hedge of protection and that all desire to deal in this will go away. Be blessed.

Yes, they do. But you have to give it more time. Try it in different locations too. Some places have more activity than others. Be patient, and try often.
