death is a part of life, becuase if it werent then death would not be inevitable. it's only as inevitable as life, because those who never lived never died. so death can't be the meaning of life, for those of you who look for the darker sides of things. the meaning is whatever you make it out to be. if the thing that means the most to you is to love, then that is your meaning, if it is to help people, then that's yours. life just gives you all these choices and in the end, obviously they dont last forever as you die and they are forgotten. but the people you touch and affect will continue to love you for what you've done in your life, and in some cases even the new generations will be affected by you, even if they werent alive in your time. so i think it's the mark you leave and the people you touch. be happy while you can but remember that that is everyone's goal, and so be kind to others on the way, so that everyone can be a step closer to that ideal happiness. i wish i had a better answer! trust me, i ponder this enough lol.

The Truth is exterior, and independent of the human mind.
Life exists, because the outside Truth currently allows conditions that permit self-replicating molecules to exist.
If there is not enough dark matter in the Universe, then the Laws of Thermodynamics come into play; entropy ultimately freezes the Universe, and self-replicating molecules will no longer be able to replicate.
Neither will human minds.
Cosmic Cooling is the Ultimate ManBearPig.
You'll need to boil a lot of tea and work through the night to answer your question even if the question is the answer. And work fast. The Universe is cooling...

It is to positively affect the world around us. The smallest gesture could make the difference. A smile, A kind word, or a helping hand can change the course of life for someone. You don't have to save the whole world, just try to make a difference in your part.

there doesn't have to be a meaning - it just is
life should have some purpose and hopefully a sense of achiement at the end
whatever you do do it well
help others when you can and treat others with respect
be adventurous - go through open doors
be honest and honourable
love with conviction
mostly just enjoy - its too short for questions like this

the true meaning of life is not in the question. why try to be cleverer than you are. so how come there is no official answer to this. no-one knows, but personally, i would say the most factual and methodical (despite disagreement in the form of thumbs down) is reproduction.

Maybe the meaning of life is searching for the meaning of life, like you said. But I can't really be sure until I die.

*At some point during your search for the meaning of life, don't forget to do a little living. *Understanding does not come by way of intellectual study, but through experience. *Once life becomes a habit,we cease to learn.

This is the topic of the Old Testament book of Ecclesiates. Without God, all of life is vanity. Without God it has no meaning. "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments, for this is the whole of man (Ecc. 12: 13)."
