This is for the supporters of Fred Thompson, why do you like him so much? What has he accomplished? What does he stand for? What has he done other than Law and order? serious answers only please I'm curious and don't know much about him.

Well its because too many Republicans have the belief that a good Republican must be like Reagan. Fred Thompson resembles Reagan because both were actors.
Personally, I am a moderate Republican and not impressed by Thompson. He did not do much while he was in the Senate and he seems too establishment for me. Does America want another conservative from the South is a legitimate question that needs to be answered. The polling indicates that they are far more likely to elect a moderate from New York.

I like Fred Thompson's views but so far he has not impressed me. He seems too low key, almost tired. Maybe when he officially announces it will be different. Right now I am leaning towards Mitt Romney. .

Seriously he is quite accomplished - I can admit that even if I do not agree with his politics.

Because of all the Republicans running he is the only life long Conservative. Because all the Neo-Socialist Progressive Liberals are anti-America, anti-Capitalism and to interested in their own political interests to worry about America.
