Ok, I am going to purchase a computer later this year. Problem is I don't know to choose HP or Dell. What do you think? And also, I am wanting to get a computer that works great with games. So I was thinking a 3.0 GHz processor and 2gbs of memory for under 600 dollars. Need some help. Thanks!

Send an email to support@carbonfrost.com. I think we should be able to work something out for about 600 bucks and a pretty good video card since you will need a dedicated video and sound card for a good experience. Also 3 GHz is kinda expensive. For 600 bucks we would choose 2.66 or so and then overclock it while still keeping it under warranty.

It really depends on what you have right now. assuming you have a decent computer right now, you can skimp on the peripherals and go for the essentials. Next you will have to think about how long do you want to keep the new computer for. You gonna get a 3.0 ghz computer and replace almost everything in a couple of years or get a dual core and addon the stuff you want as you go.

Hopefully you not going to get a celeron since it seems like multicore is the way both amd and intel is heading.

You will want to build one. If you are unsure how to, then you should read up on it, or find a buddy who will help you order and build it for you. Spending 600$ on a computer already put together will be soo much slower than if you buy it in pieces.

if u want to play games on it it has to have a dedicated graphics card. u cant find a decent computer for under $600. if u want to play games on it, u will have to spend more. like around $1000-$2000.
