I am in a partnership for a small company in the bay area. Recently my partner and I received parking tickets. His parking ticket was issued because he parked before a No Parking sign to get the company mail from our P.O. Box. The sign was removed the next day after receiving the ticket. I received my ticket from parking in a red zone to complete a big commecial job. Our equipment for doing these jobs our mounted in the truck. So in order to complete any work the truck must be withing about 50 feet of the main entrance. The question is should the company pay for both of our tickets or are we individually responsible for the tickets on a case by case bases.

If the corporation pays those, I'd bet the IRS would frown on it, should they ever find it.
If the equipment is owned by the corp., ask your accountant.

I'd bet that a permit would have been issued for the truck parking, had you applied in advance.

I consider many of the solutions that I have been written previous to my answer, yet I even have slightly distinctive twist. traditionally, small business enterprise is the place innovation happens. super business enterprise supplies continuity and production to fulfill our every day desires, yet would not respond nicely to changing demands of society. There are exceptions yet frequently super business enterprise is in simple terms too tied up in forms and custom to make adjustments. The expression, "How lots room is had to instruct the Queen Mary steamship?" the respond: miles. enable me supply you an occasion: Who invented the icon utilized by way of Apple and domicile windows of their working structures? Xerox did. yet they could no longer confirm a thank you to apply it. Apple observed it and adjusted computing. by way of out history small agencies have invented the flaws that have revolutionized our lives. the private pc grow to be no longer invented by way of IBM even inspite of the undeniable fact that that they had close to to 80% of the computing business enterprise interior the previous due Seventies and early Nineteen Eighteen Eighties. Wilbur and Orville Wright weren't area of the railroads, however the revolutionized the way that persons moved around the rustic. Henry Ford wasn't a buggy producer, yet revolutized the way vehicles have been synthetic. That form hasn't replaced right this moment.

Yep, business expense, like fees on credit cards, or late fees on a bill. I would enter it under "fees other", as long as you can reasonably explain (which you just did) how the fee was acquired, it is legit.
