Third party software is the best; like "Net Nanny".

Filter's all objectionable material and is password protected.

Windows XP has parental control that you can activate. And McAfee Security Scan has One as well any time I come if you think your son is visiting a certain webite all you have to do is tell McAfee to block that specific website. Then anytime someone tries to go there the windows close.
