I thought it was safe since it's not connected to anything but now I'm not sure. So, I was just wondering if I should have turned it off? The storm has pretty much ended.

Beyouce, the guy's laptap was plugged into the wall. I know not to plug anything in. I'm asking because my laptop is not plugged into anything.

You must live here..it stormed really bad. But your laptop is fine, your router was at risk but it costs less to replace it then the laptop.

Your computer is safe, but the lightning could get to your wireless transmitter.
