buy an acne scrub at your local drugstore. alot of companies make them, like biore, neutrogena, or clean and clear. use the scrub a few times a week. you can also get these strips, i think biore makes them, and theyre just blackhead removing strips
goodluck!!:)

ok, so the acne can be stress induced as well as hormone induced. I'm 28 and i am just now clearing up my skin. First off you gotta wash your face daily (i have oily skin too so look for products designde for oily skin, not combination, sensitive or any others) A face scrub (proactive not the brand but meaning it will help prevent but you may still have to tackle what you have now) will help clear out any build up |(bleack heads) otherwise, wash your hands with soap and water and squeeze em out. On top of that moisturize your face daily (once again specific for oily skin type). I know its a lot to do, but i have had acne problems face, shoulder and back. It was'nt until i met my current girlfriend (who works at sephora so she gets me the good stuff for my skin) that it started to subside. Whenever i started skipping a day here and there it came back again, but now that its been clear for a while it requires less maintenance. I think the best thing you could do is go to Sephora if you have one around you, because they have "Skin Experts" that have been educated on all of these products and will help you for free, no havein to pay a doctor or anyone else for help. You may have to try a couple of products before you find what works best for you, but thats the other reason i think you should go to Sephora, because they will give you free samples if you ask, so you can try it all out first.

Trust me, after hating pictures cause i always looked hella red and bein uncomfortable about the fact that it never went away i finally have clear skin. Hope this helps, and good luck to you. I know this can mess with you at any age so don't let it get to you.

My son's dr. says that acne is caused by dirt, bacteria & oil. If you can remove those three you'll have great skin.

Okay, the expensive treatment is proactive. It works wonders on my son, but it has several steps and he doesn't do it every day.

When my son goes swimming every day, I don't know if it's the pool's chemicals or the sunshine, but his face clears right up.

Ok. Now I offer the treatment that will cost nothing and work the best. You'll probably think I'm crazy, though. It's an ancient China remedy.

Take off all your metal objects (it stops the flow of energy). Take your right palm and place it on your left calf. Take your left palm and place it on your right calf. Relax as much as possible. You can watch TV if you need to. Stay in that position for at least 1/2 hr, more if you can. Do that every day or as often as you can. Within 2 days you should notice a visible improvement in the surface of your face. Still keep washing thoroughly, but this treatment is da bom!

Step 1. is to use an acne-fighting facial cleanser and a soft towel to PAT dry which you need to do EVERY morning and EVERY night.
Three of the most popular acne-fighting compounds are salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and triclosan. These can be found a almost any store, I suggest using a combination of the three ingredients, like a face wash with triclosan (Noxema Triple Clean is good), and then a topical cream (at night) with benzoyl peroxide (like Clean&Clear Persa-Gel).
Step 2.
Because most of the time acne is genetic and is hard to keep under control - you need to see a doctor and get a prescription acne medication, like an antibiotic or topical cream that you apply to your skin.
There a lot of pills out there which means a little of trial and error until your skin will respond to the right one. Generally the doctor can you give you samples of 1-2 weeks worth of pills and that way you don't have to spend money on something that won't work.
Step 3.
It is important to make sure you shower every day, especially in the evening because bacteria, oils, and sweat from your skin get onto your sheets and then on to your skin which assist in breakouts. I suggest changing your bed sheets pretty frequently as 3 times a month and maybe every week for your pillow case. It's very important that you also start a good dose for about 3 months of Evening Primrose Oil 2x day and Zinc 1 x 50mg day to help reduce inflamation, (they are supplements specific to skin conditions and do wonders) Drink lots of water (NO carbonated drinks of any sort), and start exercising minimum 3 x week (even if it's a good power walk for 1 hr). This will help your body flush its system naturally and prevent further breakouts because by moving, your blood will start circulating at a higher pace and that's what you want.
Try and stay away from covering your face with make up, but if you need to help with your confidence, there are good mineral based make up brands out there, just make sure you do WASH your face before you go to bed at night.

Hope it helps.

A fantastic brand that is a paramedical brand that is specifically targeted to all types of acne is

I'd recommend getting a facial there every 6-8 weeks, they do wonders and their topical cream for acne is amazing!

Good Luck!

Blackheads are a result of large pores. I have them too. Make a paste of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and water, and set aside. You must first rinse your face for several minutes with warm water to open your pores, say splash at least 10 times, than apply the paste, gently rub in a circular motion, and rinse off, splashing 10 times, than turn the water to COLD, and splash another 10 times to close and tighten your pores. When using face lotion, which can clog pores, mix with a drop of water or two, to thin the lotion, so your skin can breathe. you will be amazed at the results, plus a box of baking soda costs less than $1.00. Try it ! You can get this baking soda at the dollar store, or grocery store.

I've tried alot of those drug store acne treatments, and well, they just dont work. the best thing for acne is mary kay treatment gel. ( and no im not a mary kay salesperson lol im 13 ) the only thing is though, is that you have to buy it from a private seller, and its a lil more expensve, but it worked! my face was clear within 3 days! Hope this helped!
