lol i just graduated from middle school. and it wasn't that bad. sure there was gangs, drugs, and sex, but i didn't hang out with them. DONT hang out with the wrong crowd, and dont hang out with a crowd that makes u feel uncomfortable. i hung out with preps, and it was kind of ehh.... then hung out with skaters, then some other people, but in the end, i realize the best place to be is with one of my two best friends, that dont care about labels. and dont let peer pressure get ahold of you. hope i helped =)

well u just got to remember not to be afraid.. i was shy and everything on the first day of middle school.. but now i just graduated middle school in 8th and im headed for my freshman year in highschool.. that's a really big step you need to worry about..

but now im joining my first year in highschool.. just think of how i might feel.. I know that i was entering a whole different school stystem of older kids but when you get a least a week done.. it won't feel bad @ all..

Anyone can survive middle school.. just like i can survive going into a much much bigger school.. otherwords.. highschool.. Just don't make a fool of yourself, stay calm, try and fit in, have lots uv fun and don't be shy.
Everything will be okay and the next thing you know is that you'll be going into highschool.. and the whole process starts over again...
I loved middle school, except you know the really embarrasing days and the days that i was soooo depressed.. and it was also boring somedays and really fun... idk.. i was just the person who would hang with everybody. the popular ppl, the un-popular people, smart, dumb and some people that were'nt so good.. Middles School is were i started wearing different clothes and acting different.. but it's just because ur growing up.. and all im saying is middle school is just the beggining.. Just have funn.... be urself..
Hope i helped...

Good Question! I started middle school (well, where we live we call it Junior High) when I had JUST turned ten and was going to 5th Grade. (Elementary K-4, Junior High 5-8, Highschool 9-12) Anyway, how I survived is I basically hung out with a close group of friends (I don't hang-out with them any more because i'm just too mature for THAT group anymore) and whenever I saw the higher grades in the hallway, I didn't give them a dirty look, say hi, act cool, or anything like that. I just sort of acted submissive and just like "Hey, I know you guys rule the roost. I aint interfering with your life" and walked pass them. Now I'm going into 7th grade so I get to see all of the new 5th graders, (who last time I saw them was when they were in 3rd grade :) My 5th grade teachers got us prepared for changing classes by changing for one subject. Now we change classes for every subject and it's a good thing because if you have one strict teacher, you don't have that person all day, I'n my school, we change classes with different people so I get to see different people everyday, it keeps the day not as boring, and as you switch classes, you can talk with your friends on your way to class. When I went into 5th grade, I made sure that I had EVERYTHING on the school supply list, but my teacher was easy on us and gave us the stuff we didn't have and just said in the next years our teachers are going to expect more and more, yaddy yaddy yadda. Well, good luck! It's not as hard as it seems. P.S: I was SO nervous about riding the bus with the highschool, but 1, the highschool can't come up any farther than a marked place and vice versa for us, 2, they get dropped off first at the highschool, and get picked up second (after us), and 3, thay are way too busy talking, putting on make-up listening to music, etc. to even notice us :D

Man... middle school is scary isn't it? I remember the summer before going into it and i was so stressed out... i went through a lot of changes... but i was still trying to find myself.
Surviving middle school is a lot easier than it may seem...
it seems scary.. it seems intimidating
but its AWESOME! after all... you don't spend you're whole life there... so enjoy it while it lasts.
Don't worry about being popular... don't worry about the way you look... or whether you have the latest version of cell phones and mp3 players... or whether you'll get invited to that cool party.
Be true... be yourself and have fun!!!

Honestly, its not that big of a deal. After a couple weeks you will have it mostly all down. The first week is very scary, but you can't let it get to you. The only differenece between middle school and your old school is that now boys and girls REALLY start getting interested in one another and there is a lot more drama within people. You gotta keep your confidence, don't let anyone get you down!

It's not as scary when you get used to it. But keep your schedule balanced, make friends with people and they should be nice to you. Well, most of them. Pick up on what people at your school consider cool, (stores, or anything else) but keep your personality. Ignore gossip by laughing and just pretending it's the most ludicrious thing you've ever heard. Put in the most effort at the beginning of the year so your teachers like you. Don't let people know you're scared. Most of all, try to relax and enjoy the new freedom.

Be true to the real person you are. Be friendly to everyone but don't go along with cruel games played on sad people. Sometimes it is so hard to stand alone but you'll look back and be so proud of yourself. Remember you are an individual--not a pack member in a bunch of scared young adults all trying not to be the class weirdo. You are all weird, wonderful, and graceful. See all the beauty in all the people around you and grow your heart. It will all be fine--I promise.

Be yourself and if you make good friends, stick with them, otherwise you'll end up doing things you will regret. (trust me)
Besides, even though middle school is tough, it's nothing compared to high school. Don't get me started on college...
just have fun and be resposible. Be smart and don't do anything illegal. You'll be surprised with everything that goes on in middle school or maybe you already know. You'll know what to do when the time comes.

Listen to your teachers. Do all of your assignments and homework. Study every night. Pass all tests. If you get out of middle school, then you survived. If you fail classes and end up dropping out of school before you enter high school, then you didn't survive!

Trust me, middle school is definitely not as bad as people say. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and yes, survived. Be friendly and study well. I'm in highschool now, and still going strong! =)

1. Be yourself!
2. Say hi to every one you know from elem. school wether you hung out with them or not. Get over being shy 9that is if you are) people will automatically start to like you if you say hi and show that you remember them.
3. First day find someone who has the same lunch with you and plan to sit with them (even if you just met them or aren't close friends it's a great way to meet new people.)
