I need to switch since Sunrocket is shutting down so...
who are you switching to?

Vonage is letting me keep my main number however,
is there any other VoIP out there?

I too was a SunRocket customer (service still on for me, but wouldn't be surprised to see it offline at any time now). The website Slashdot had a forum thread on the demise of SunRocket and contains a few alternatives. ViaTalk is supposedly offering to take in existing SunRocket customers. From the second link below: "At this time, we are offering a contract buyout to them and subscribers to other VoIP companies. We are also offering a coupon for free ground shipping of ViaTalk's phone system to assist customers looking to switch because of this announcement.".

I'm considering dropping my home phone altogether. I initially went with SunRocket because of their great prices and service reviews and to avoid using too many minutes on my cell phone. Most of my family/friends though are now on the same wireless carrier so a majority of my cell calls don't deplete the minutes. I am seriously thinking to go with just the cell phone.

I don't recommend Vonage. They are too expensive.
