I think that those that are fans of the book are. I would love to get the stamps that the royal mail is releasing....they are so cool. and of course the penultimate is the book releasing on sat can't wait!!

Considering there are Harry Potter events happening in the US, and many bookstores have been planning such for the last book as long as many in Britian, I'm not exactly sure how to answer. Yeah, I know, someone's gonna look at this and say "But you did answer." My point is that I don't know if the British events are being used in the US to help set up events here or if both countries' events will be so totally different that it becomes clear that neither had an affect on the other.

I doubt we're affected by events in Britain, but we have quite enough of them on this side of the pond, thank you very much! Harry is having his effect, whether here or there!
