Is there a way to mask my IP to the basic one so people can't get my normal one? And if so, how?

--Thanks

The best way I could think of would be to use a Proxy site (use a proxy like proxymouse.com)....
But why would you want your IP covered, doing something bad are we?

It is impossible to mask your IP. Proxies can easily be bypassed.

There is no reason to hide your IP anyway.

Use a program called Ghost. It will hide your IP address for general use, but if you do anything illegall the cops or the feds can walk all over the scrambling codes that Ghost has.
