idealy we should be on the smae page and do it 50/50 buit everyone knows its not lawasy ideal. what's reality for you?

in all reality i tke care of everything im like his mommu, i take care of all the bills and the cleaning, which is most of it, he does do all the grocery shopping though

It was about 75/25 when my stepson was younger. I felt that I had to step in 'cause my husband was always working. But we were good at supporting the other and not contradicting each other in front of him. Son's 19 now and in the Marines. I think we did well.

I was during my marriage and now am with our divorce. He can't stand it if she cries - she's 3 - sometimes there are going to be tears.. a good example is him calling me at 2 a.m. while she was there for visitation because she wouldn't go to sleep. They were watching Phantom of the Opera and she'd cry when he'd turn it off.. he called me for advice! LOL>.. I said, turn it off.. He said, but she cries.. I said, so, she's 3.. it's 2 a.m. she's probably tired.. He said she finally went to sleep around 4, still watching the movie! Good grief!

I have to say for the most part it's equal. My husband and I respect each other greatly and try to keep a fair playing field always.

i am supposed to be more since the two older ones are mine, but my husband does have to set me straight sometimes since i do let my two older ones get away with things they shouldn't. i'm working on it. it's just hard to break the habit i have been doing for the past 4 years.

me but i'm trying to get my husband to take on a little more. it kind of fell in my lap as he works all kinds of hours and i'm a stay at home mom.
