i quit wearing them in the 70s when i joined the marines when they wanted me to wear those stupid boxers, my 3 boys dont wear them, but when we go to the doctor and i tell the nurse up front about it, she is like,, oh my god,, whats the big deal,, we are a very clean family, so why the undies, thanks to all that answer in a polite manner and i wish you joy

I also quit wearing them after I joined the corp,it is so comfortable,plus it saves money.I haven`t bought underwear since 1989.It`s nice to know that I am not the only one.

Sometimes I don't wear them either. No big deal. To each his own. Except in the case of Britney Spears, there are times when undies would go well with a mini skirt. I mean you should use good judgement. 2D

I guess we wear them because we were told to do so as a child. I used to not wear any, but after a while I hated it and started back wearing them. I think it really depends on the person if they like to wear them or not.

It's a comfort thing. I personally prefer to wear underwear because otherwise I chafe against the seam in the crotch.

I wear them for support, protection, modesty etc. I'm not saying I have a massive penis (although I do!) but underwear holds all my bits together, protects them from general activity, holds my penis in and gives me some modesty if i have an erection ( and we all get erections at inappropriate places!). I also find it much more comfortable wearing underwear than not.

It feels more comfortable to me, and you've got to have somewhere to fit a pad, and it keeps pants from going up anywhere they shouldn't and outlining the area.
