On C-Span 2 ..Levin (D-Mi ) would not allow a vote because it could wreck the " We were up all night " scam for TV morning news shows. Tomorrow how could Good morning America say the Dems fought all nite BOO HOO

Maybe about 6 weeks from now, we'll have a video from it. Senators Gone Wild. You'll have shots of Olympia Snow and Hilary Clinton flashing the camera.

You will not say this if you ever visited any overseas country. To be blind to what is happening in the world, as a direct CONSEQUENCE of the agenda of this administration is to fall into a hell hole for generations to come.
Senator Reid represents the conscience of America which has been hijacked by greedy and callous men who will hold on to the falsehood at the expense of thousands of human lives, of all nationalities.
It is time that reality hits home. To be fair and open is not equivalent to being weak. The one who holds the TRUTH card has nothing to fear.

What is wrong with democracy? Why are the Republicans afraid of having a vote on the war? The only reason there is going to be a late night session is to call attention to the Republican filibuster, which is a device used to prevent the majority from getting its way.

Seems like the Dems are actually trying to do more than just rubber stamp bills at GWs request. I think that is called doing their job but then the Repub Senators wouldn't understand that concept.

Our expense? Congress is paid a yearly salary regardless of how much they actually work, .....if its cost your worried about you should be happy, you are getting more for your money.
Would you prefer they take the month off like the Iraqi Parlament?

I think it is helarious how the GOPers on here whine about the all night session yet when their people did the same thing they didn't say a peep. What hypocrites. Late night sessions are nothing new. Keep whining it will just help the Democrats in next year's election.
