Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Genesis 2:21-22 "And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
There, in Genesis, you see God creating man and woman at the same time (chapter 1, verse 27). Then in chapter 2, you have man made in verse 7 and woman made FROM man in verses 21 and 22.
The idea that this suggests a first wife, the demon Lilith, comes from apocryphal Jewish writings.
Lilith also appears in vampire stories. Genesis chapter 4 tells the story of Cain and Abel. How Cain slew Abel, and how God placed a mark on Cain, so that non may kill him. In some vampire lore, Cain is the father of all vampires. It was Lilith that taught him the power that lies in blood.

Why would there be any evidence for that? There isn't any evidence for Adam or Eve, either. The whole thing is a myth.
Now if I remember correctly, Lilith was the name of Frasier's second wife. Oh, that was make-believe, too.

Lilith is the same as the Babylonian Ishtar she was called the goddess and queen of heaven and earth. Something Christians attribute to Mary the so called mother of Jesus. The truth is that Christianity is a religion based on the solar system because Ishtar is connected with the constellation Virgo.

Genesis. The first version. Adam & Lilith were created at the same time from dust & were equals. When he tried to dominate her, she left & Adam had God create another woman from his rib so that she would be subserviant to him.

Lillith is a demon of the air. The sumerians believed that she was multiple entities. Her name appears in the legend of gilgamesh, as well as in the bible, and the dead sea scrolls where she appears as a single being. However, there is no evidence to support that she was at any time associated with adam.

She was Adams first wife and for her disobedience to God She was turned into a demon and kicked out of the Garden of Eden... But it is written in the bible... Also a lot of women libbers think that she is a hero and struck the first blow for woman libber.. But what God did to her and how she is feared today by many women of the Jewish faith makes her a very poor example to follow.....................
