Mine is the 49 - 51 Mercs. I owned a 51 convertible which ws one of the best road cars I ever drove. I think they were some of the most beautiful cars ever designed. My second choice would be the 40 and 41 coupes. Make didn't matter that much. Ford, Buick, Chevy, Caddy, LaSalle, Pontiac and Willys all had beautiful and classic lines although the Buick with the spare tire, in a well on the fender, was VERY impressive looking. I currently own '65 and '68 Mustangs but the others are still my all time favorites.

Too bad you picked cars you've never owned, right? Hey, Brek69AMX, got ya covered, man! I don't own an AMX, but I DO own a '70 Javelin, '78 Gremlin GT, '70 Hornet 4-door, 79 Pacer wagon, '76 Matador Coupe, and others. 8 Gremlins total. My favorite used to be my '57 Chevy I tooled around in in youth ( I still have it, but it's been sitting now 17? years. Ouch. Need to get a motor in it again ). My '70 Javelin was fun, I drove it a few years until it started smoking. My first taste of AMC. Then I acquired my '78 Gremlin GT, Sun Orange. I get LOTS of comments on it ( the pictures , anyway, I haven't driven it but 3 times on the street in the 7 years I've owned it ), one day I'll have all the problems fixed and can drive it down the street and make it home again.
But my all-time fav has to be a '57 Chevy convertible, even though I've never owned one of that model. Can't afford that, a Shelby, nor a Ferrari. Ah well. I still have my AMCs and a '57 Chevy.... - The Gremlin Guy -
