Are you a teacher? If you are then you are on salary and you prepare the lesson no matter what. Even if you have to take it home. You are responsible for doing your job.

Honestly, this is where my very good friends kicked in. I would call up my friends (ones who I know could really help me with projects and school stuff) and tell them I had an emergency and get help. You can always offer to buy them food or pay them if you prefer, but sometimes you need more than 1 person working on stuff to survive.
I did that a lot in my undergrad...if I didn't I would have literally been buried.

You do what teachers have done since the beginning of time: you stay late or come in early... Ahhhh, the smell of the freshly-run copies....I can smell it now.

well...you should work on it in class while you work on the class assignment and if you still don't get it done at least the teacher will have more sympathy for you :)
