All planes expand during flight, due to heat

In fact Concorde used to expand by more than a foot at times during a trans-atlantic flight

A regular 747 airplane is flying at about 500 mph. The friction of the air on the metal in so great that it actually causes the metal to expand. This is why the plane stretches.

you mean stretch ?

supersonic aircraft normally stretch for getting heated up by air molecules.

if you refer to to the lorentzen contraction along with reaching relativistc speeds near C. the thing about stretching gets a little complex.
For you as sitting inside the aircraft, you wouldn't see it stretch
For you as an external observer you you would actually see it shrink in the direction it moves.
For you sitting inside you would see the outside world stretch

however what you saw in 'twilight zone' was fictionous. somone who would sit inside an aircraft and would undergo some time phenomena by getting unusually fast accelerated or so wouldn't observe any effect while travelling

Twilight Zone was a fictional television show. If you are really interested in the dynamic forces upon an airplane during flight, you should try the engineering category.

But I'm guessing you aren't interested in reality.
