Just take note that the 8800GTX SLI would consume about 246 WATTS or almost 21 amps on the +12V rail. The E6850 is just a 65 watter but would draw more when overclocked.
A power supply with total of 40 amps on the +12V rail could just be the minimum to run your set up. But one with a quad +12V rail and total of 50 to 60 amps should run pretty cool and last longer.
DO NOT look at the total PSU wattage. Focus on the +12V amps.

Depends on the power supply, the video cards and the amount of overclocking. The newest 8800 GTX cards can consume over 300 watts each when overclocked and running full out. There is an article covering this at firingsquad.com

If you SLI those 2 graphics cards with 2 hard drives and a board like that, ur gonna need one hell of a power supply. About 600-750 watts. the 8800gtx are power hogs.

Dude get laptop Wizard 2007 it relatively is going to inform you all your specifications approximately your comp and doubtless your PSU if it may discover it. If not then you definitely would desire to open up your case and seem on the sticky label on the PSU that tells your wattage. you're able to do it your self in case you're careful to floor your self. in simple terms disconnect your cables and each thing. The PSU or power furnish Unit is have been a cable runs from the opening into your laptop and the unit would have a fan on it.

Hate to be a party pooper but I think one day you'll look back and say, "Wow, that was a huge waste..."
I can't think of any application that requires the use of 2x 8800GTX to get the last bit of eye candy out of it.
IMO, The SLI setup is just a way to sell more video cards.

You may want to edit your question to specify the actual power supply...
