In 1990, the Minnesota Twins turned two triple plays in one game. This is the only time more than one has been accomplished in a single game, to my knowledge.

As noted, the Minnesota Twins turned two triple plays against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway, 17-July-1990.

The Twins still lost the game, 1-0.
