I didn't know 'rules' were something to 'believe' in.? But no. I think whoever wants to drive can drive. Theres no 'rule' or 'unwritten rule' that says other wise. I mean, yes, in almost every couple out there, married or not, the male IS the one to drive. But who's to say that makes it a 'rule'? I mean, think about this. The female in a marriage is doing a lot of running around, doing the shopping and all. So why would she want to drive when her man can do it? And the female in a regular dating relationship may just do a lot of the driving when with her friends. So again, why would she want to do drive when her mans around?
All 'N' all, I don't 'believe' in 'unwritten rules'

Were you aware that in general, men are better at navigating than women? (Ladies, this is definitely a generalized statement, not applicable to all women.) Taking this into account, it would make sense for women to be driving and the men to be navigating.
If you're talking about local driving, I think it all depends on who feels like driving and who's car is taken. If my car is taken, I prefer to drive most of the time. But I will relinquish the driver's seat if I'm not up to driving.

This is the one time I'm going to have to agree with you..... Not because women can't drive or because men drive better then women, but because I always thought there was something weird about a woman driving her husband around. XD

If the man feels like driving long distance and that he is capable in doing it then of course he can. but on the other
hand if he is tired, then the woman must take over.

Yes that is the way it always was when I was married. I also think the man should open the car door for the woman.

I don't think that it's a rule. It's more of a generalization. Usually, in my family, my dad drives when my whole family goes somewhere. But the woman can still drive, too.

Yes dang it! Sadly my husband says I get everywhere quicker. I also think that if you come to a gas station the man should have to fill the tank!

I prefer my husband to drive, and he prefers to drive. Sometimes when I pick him up or drop him off at the airport, I drive, though.
