In my career I've worked for many lawyers, defense and prosecution both and I can tell you that there was only one that wasn't deceitful, but of course, I didn't know him personally.

Most of the crap they charge for (phone calls, letters, etc.) is bogus crap but will charge you phenomenal fees....OF WHICH....you could have done yourself.

$1,500 to type up a common Petition for Divorce and Decree can be done WITHOUT an attorney for $120.

I don't know about you but I don't like paying that much for a lawyer's signature.

some can be... Mine is freaking awesome!

I guess it depends on which side of the court house you sit on, and how much cash you stand to loose or gain..
