I kinda call it a message, like the one delivered in the end of the movie 2010. Should the USA should go Death Star like in Star Wars and just take an entire country off the earth? Aren't you tired of the threats being given to this country and all of the soldiers being killed when we could just as easily send one of those Radical bastard nations straight back to the Stone Age. I'm curious what Americans truly think on this subject...

Umm, an update for the feeble minded who don't understand my analogies in my question.

The message in 2010 was simple in the end. A black monolith was placed on earth. This was the same device that turned Jupiter into another sun. The one's who put it there made it clear that people on Earth better play nice with each other, or that was their asses.

As for the Death Star reference, anyone who possesses such power of that magnitude would be feared unconditionally.

The US has weapons capable of such magnitude if so desired. I feel bad for those in Japan, but after we dropped those 2 A-bombs, you saw how quickly they were waving a white flag.

Analogies: The threat (2010) of total annihilation (Death Star) may be the final solution if we are ever to end this 'War on Terror', cause obviously, not many Middle Eastern Nations, cough--Iran, seem to take us seriously.

When you are looking to get a snake out of a field, you don't go in after him...you burn it down.

I like the mad approach, because it puts the ball in their court. The president should make a blanket statement: " The United States shall no longer pursue terrorists. We shall free your assets, and allow you to live in peace. HOWEVER, should any terrorist attack a citizen of the United States, then the United States will respond with overwhelming force on the capital and citizenry of that terrorist home nation."
The governments of these nations KNOW who the terrorists are. Now THEY can babysit them, an keep them under control, spending billions of THEIR dollars in the matter. These governments can live in fear of an attack from US for a change, and see how long it takes to get this whole terrorism problem under control.
World opinion? Since when has any other country save Great Britian, Canada, and Australia cared about the United States other than what we could do for them? Screw em and their opinion. A cessation of foreign aid to their country will change their tune quick enough.
Oh and one last point..... when the terrorists are stupid enough to think we are bluffing, and do indeed attack us, then the first target for a 100 plane B52 strike should be Mecca.

LMAO...relax rambo. try a measured approach. the majority of these threats are coming from rouge terrorist groups within sovereign countries. I'm all for kicking some a$$ but if you go ape $h!t and start nuking or carpet bombing the countries where they reside, we run the risk of becoming even more of a pariah in the world than we already are.

I would answer with this question,, what is a terrorist? is it a group of people or maybe even a country that invades another country to bomb, destroy and steal? make mayhem? Rape the women,? I think that's what we are doing in Iraq we are terrorist, we are doingmuch worse than has ever been done to us.Plus we are getting our own soldiers killed too. thank about it,

yea i agree 100% if u mess with the U.S u should get messed up im tired of other countries doubting our power. And if other countries did get mad and tried to attack us you can bet that i would be first in line to fight against anybody who messes with our country.

Keep your thoughts planted in reality. If we were to nuke, say, Iran, then we would become everyone else's nuke target.
